The Control Saver is a specially-designed control lock for Piper and Mooney aircraft. It holds the ailerons in the neutral position and the stabilizer in the down position. This is the best position for the controls in high wind gusts and jet blasts, and this position makes entering and exiting your aircraft easier. The rudder on Piper and Mooney are held in place by the direct connection to the nose wheel.
Piper and Mooney aircraft do not have control locks by default. That\’s why we designed the Control Saver control lock to meet the needs of pilots who fly these types of planes.

The AV-Suns are made with CR-39 lenses which are as clear as glass without the weight. The tint is Aviator Gray developed by BPI for Fighter Pilots. This gray tint does not change the color of what you are looking at. The AV-Suns are Non- Polarized. Glare from other planes is the first thing you see, making far off planes easier to see.
The Av-Sun Sunglasses feature a gradient tint that fades to clear on the bottom of the lenses making reading a map easier in low light conditions. The AV-Suns provide 100% UV Protection. The titanium frames are light weight, good looking and top quality!
Photochromic lenses do not work inside of the plane because the windows have some UV protection.
The AV-Sun have 28mm bifocals, progressive lenses are much smaller and require the pilot to turn their head rather than just moving their eyes.
